Key notes: The “debility” common to acids shows itself here, especially in the digestive tract, giving a very relaxed feeling in the stomach, with craving for stimulants; tremor and weakness; everything must be done in a hurry; hot flushes followed by perspiration, with trembling; writer’s cramp; ecchymoses; easy bruising; sourness of the whole body.

Materia medica indications — میٹیریا میڈیکا میں مذکور کیفیات

Head: Brain feels loose in forehead, and falling from side to side; compressive pain on side of head, as if brain were being squeezed; pain gradually increases and ceases suddenly; concussion of brain, where skin is cold and body is bathed in cold sweat.

سر: ماتھے میں دماغ ڈھیلا اور ادھر ادھر گرتا محسوس؛ سر کی ایک طرف دبانے والا درد جیسے دماغ نچوڑا جا رہا ہو؛ درد آہستہ بڑھے اور اچانک رکے؛ دماغی چوٹ جہاں جلد ٹھنڈی اور جسم ٹھنڈے پسینے میں تر ہو۔

Mouth: Aphthae; gums bleed readily; offensive breath; pyorrhoea.

منہ: چھالے؛ مسوڑھوں سے آسانی سے خون؛ بدبودار سانس؛ مسوڑھوں سے پیپ۔

Stomach: Heartburn; acid eructations; sour vomiting; hiccough; cold feeling in stomach, relieved by heat; relaxed feeling in stomach; nausea, with chilliness.

معدہ: سینے کی جلن؛ کھٹی ڈکار؛ کھٹی قے؛ ہچکی؛ معدے میں ٹھنڈک جو گرمی سے کم ہو؛ معدے کا ڈھیلا پن؛ ٹھنڈک کے ساتھ متلی۔

Rectum: Feeling as if hernia would protrude; piles, oozing dampness; stool hurried, with sinking feeling in stomach; very offensive, black.

مقعد و پاخانہ: جیسے ہرنیا نکل آئے گا؛ نم رسنے والی بواسیر؛ معدے میں ڈوبنے کے ساتھ جلدی پاخانہ؛ بہت بدبودار، کالا۔

Female: Menses early and profuse; erosion of cervix in the aged; easily bleeding; acrid, burning leucorrhoea, often bloody; hot flushes during climacteric with trembling and sweat.

Skin: Bad effects from mechanical injuries, with bruised, livid skin; blue spots on skin; chilblains; purpura haemorrhagica; scars become red and blue and painful.

جلد: نیلی، چوٹ زدہ جلد کے ساتھ میکانکی چوٹوں کے برے اثرات؛ جلد پر نیلے دھبے؛ سردی کی سوجن؛ جلد کے نیچے خون کے دھبے؛ نشانات سرخ و نیلے اور دردناک۔

Modalities: Worse: from excess of heat or cold, in forenoon and evening. Better: from hot drinks; moderate temperature; lying on affected side.
