Stannum metallicum (Tin)

Key notes: Chief action is centred upon the nervous system and respiratory organs; debility is very marked when Stannum is the remedy, especially the debility of chronic bronchial and pulmonary conditions, characterised by profuse muco-purulent discharges; talking causes a very weak feeling in throat and chest; pains that come and go gradually; sweetish expectoration.

Head: Aching in temples and forehead; pains increase and decrease gradually; worse motion; occipital headache; pressing outward.

سر: کنپٹیوں اور ماتھے میں درد؛ درد بتدریج بڑھیں اور گھٹیں؛ حرکت سے بڑھے؛ گدی کا سر درد؛ باہر کو دباؤ۔

Face: Pale, sunken; pain in malar bones and orbits; neuralgia, rising and falling gradually.

چہرہ: پیلا، دھنسا؛ گال کی ہڈیوں اور آنکھوں کے حلقوں میں درد؛ بتدریج بڑھنے گھٹنے والا اعصابی درد۔

Stomach: Smell of cooking causes vomiting; bitter taste; sensation of emptiness in stomach.

معدہ: پکنے کی بو سے قے؛ کڑوا ذائقہ؛ معدے میں خالی پن۔

Female: Bearing-down sensation; prolapse, worse during stool; menses early and profuse; pain in vagina, upward and back to spine; leucorrhoea, with great debility.

زنانہ اعضاء: نیچے کو دباؤ؛ اعضاء کا نیچے آنا، پاخانے کے دوران بڑھے؛ ماہواری جلد اور زیادہ؛ اندر سے اوپر اور کمر تک درد؛ شدید کمزوری کے ساتھ لیکوریا۔

Respiratory: Hoarse; mucus expelled by forcible cough; violent, dry cough in evening until midnight; cough excited by laughing, singing, talking; worse lying on right side; during day, with copious green, sweetish expectoration; chest feels weak — can hardly talk; short breath; sore feeling in chest.

نظامِ تنفس: آواز بیٹھی؛ زور کی کھانسی سے بلغم نکلے؛ شام سے آدھی رات تک شدید خشک کھانسی؛ ہنسنے، گانے، بولنے سے کھانسی؛ دائیں طرف لیٹنے سے بڑھے؛ دن میں زیادہ سبز میٹھا بلغم؛ سینہ کمزور — بمشکل بول سکے؛ چھوٹی سانس؛ سینے میں دکھن۔

Extremities: Paralytic weakness; drops things; ankles swollen; limbs suddenly give out when attempting to sit down.

اعضاء (ہاتھ پاؤں): فالج نما کمزوری؛ چیزیں گرا دینا؛ ٹخنے سوجے؛ بیٹھنے کی کوشش پر اعضاء اچانک جواب دیں۔

Modalities: Worse: using voice — laughing, talking, singing; lying on right side; warm drinks. Better: coughing or expectorating, hard pressure.
