Key notes: A powerful irritant and anaesthetic; stomach symptoms most important; acute sense of smell; pains are terrible, come and go suddenly; physical exertion brings on abscess somewhere; putrid discharges; burning pains; prostration; tight band-like headache; better from green tea or smoking.

Materia medica indications — میٹیریا میڈیکا میں مذکور کیفیات

Head: Disinclined to study; headache, as if a band were tightly drawn over forehead, from temple to temple; better from pressure of a tight band; acute sense of smell.

سر: مطالعے سے بیزاری؛ ماتھے پر ایک کنپٹی سے دوسری تک کسی پٹی جیسا سر درد؛ تنگ پٹی کے دباؤ سے بہتر؛ سونگھنے کی تیز حس۔

Stomach: Appetite lost; desire for stimulants and tobacco; constant belching, nausea, vomiting, dark olive-green; heat rises up oesophagus; flatulent distension; fermentative dyspepsia, with bad taste and breath.

معدہ: بھوک ختم؛ محرکات اور تمباکو کی خواہش؛ مسلسل ڈکار، متلی، گہرے زیتونی سبز رنگ کی قے؛ غذا کی نالی میں گرمی اٹھنا؛ ریاحی پھولنا؛ برے ذائقے اور سانس کے ساتھ خمیری بدہضمی۔

Stool: Constipation, with very offensive breath; stools like scrapings of intestines; bloody mucus; great tenesmus.

پاخانہ: بہت بدبودار سانس کے ساتھ قبض؛ آنتوں کی کھرچن جیسا پاخانہ؛ خونی بلغم؛ شدید زور۔

Female: Discharges always offensive; profuse leucorrhoea, acrid, putrid; pain in left ovary, worse walking in open air; erosions of cervix.

زنانہ اعضاء: رطوبتیں ہمیشہ بدبودار؛ زیادہ، جلن والا، سڑاند والا لیکوریا؛ بائیں بیضہ دانی میں درد، کھلی ہوا میں چلنے سے بڑھے؛ رحم کے منہ کا چھلنا۔

Skin: Itching vesicles, with burning pain; burns tend to ulcerate; ichorous discharge; itching relieved by rubbing, but leaves a burning pain; insect stings with collapse-like weakness.

جلد: جلن والے درد کے ساتھ خارش والے آبلے؛ جلنے کے زخم کا بگڑنے کا رجحان؛ رستی رطوبت؛ ملنے سے خارش کم مگر جلن چھوڑے؛ کیڑوں کے ڈنک کے بعد شدید کمزوری۔

Modalities: Better: green tea, smoking (headache).
