Key notes: Headache and intermittent fever symptoms prominent; coldness of abdomen and lower extremities; icy coldness of hands and feet; pressing headache from above downward, better pressure of hand; twitching of facial muscles; chilliness, especially of extremities.

Head: Pressing in vertex, better by hard pressure; pressure in forehead from within outward; headache with icy coldness of hands and feet; weight pressing on brain with every step; ascending stairs causes sensation as of a heavy weight.

سر: چوٹی میں دباؤ، زور سے دبانے پر بہتر؛ ماتھے میں اندر سے باہر کو دباؤ؛ ہاتھوں پیروں کی برفانی ٹھنڈک کے ساتھ سر درد؛ ہر قدم پر دماغ پر بوجھ؛ سیڑھیاں چڑھنے پر بھاری بوجھ کا احساس۔

Face: Twitching of facial muscles.

چہرہ: چہرے کے پٹھوں کی پھڑکن۔

Stomach: Ravenous hunger, passing off after a few mouthfuls; desire for meat; abdomen distended, full; increased coldness of abdomen.

معدہ: شدید بھوک، چند لقموں کے بعد ختم؛ گوشت کی خواہش؛ پیٹ پھولا، بھرا؛ پیٹ کی بڑھتی ٹھنڈک۔

Extremities: Icy coldness of hands and feet; cramp-like pain in thigh; twitching and jerking of legs; legs jerk and twitch when lying.

اعضاء (ہاتھ پاؤں): ہاتھوں پیروں کی برفانی ٹھنڈک؛ ران میں اینٹھن نما درد؛ ٹانگوں کی پھڑکن اور جھٹکے؛ لیٹنے پر ٹانگیں جھٹکیں۔

Fever: Chilliness predominates, especially in abdomen, legs and feet; tips of fingers and toes icy cold; quartan fever.

بخار: کپکپی غالب، خصوصاً پیٹ، ٹانگوں اور پیروں میں؛ انگلیوں کے سرے برفانی ٹھنڈے؛ چوتھے دن کا بخار۔

Modalities: Worse: rest, ascending stairs. Better: pressure, stooping, motion.
