Ferrum phosphoricum (Phosphate of iron)

Key notes: In the early stages of febrile conditions it stands midway between the sthenic activity of Aconite and Belladonna and the asthenic sluggishness of Gelsemium; the inflammatory stage before exudation begins; weak, rapid, soft pulse; nervous, sensitive, anaemic persons with false plethora — easy flushing; prostration marked; tendency to haemorrhages of bright red blood.

Head: Soreness to touch, cold, noise, jar; rush of blood to head; throbbing, worse stooping; vertigo; headache better by cold applications.

سر: چھونے، سردی، شور، جھٹکے سے دکھن؛ سر کی طرف خون کا زور؛ دھڑکن، جھکنے سے بڑھے؛ چکر؛ ٹھنڈی ٹکور سے بہتر سر درد۔

Eyes: Red, inflamed, with burning sensation; acute first stage of inflammation without pus.

آنکھیں: سرخ، سوجی، جلن کے ساتھ؛ پیپ کے بغیر سوزش کا پہلا شدید مرحلہ۔

Ears: Noises; throbbing; first stage of otitis; membrana tympani red and bulging.

کان: آوازیں؛ دھڑکن؛ کان کی سوزش کا پہلا مرحلہ؛ کان کا پردہ سرخ اور ابھرا۔

Nose: First stage of colds in the head; predisposition to colds; epistaxis, bright red blood.

ناک: سر کے نزلے کا پہلا مرحلہ؛ بار بار نزلے کا رجحان؛ نکسیر، چمکدار سرخ خون۔

Throat: Mouth hot; fauces red, inflamed; ulcerated sore throat; tonsils red and swollen; first stage of diphtheria-like conditions; after operations on throat and nose to control soreness.

Stomach: Aversion to meat and milk; vomiting of undigested food; sour eructations.

Respiratory: First stage of all inflammatory affections; congestion of lungs; short, painful, tickling cough; croup; hard, dry cough with sore chest; hoarseness; expectoration of pure blood; haemoptysis.

نظامِ تنفس: تمام سوزشی تکالیف کا پہلا مرحلہ؛ پھیپھڑوں کا جماؤ؛ چھوٹی، دردناک، گدگداتی کھانسی؛ کروپ؛ دکھتے سینے کے ساتھ سخت خشک کھانسی؛ آواز بیٹھنا؛ خالص خون والا بلغم۔

Urinary: Incontinence in daytime; irritation at neck of bladder; enuresis.

پیشاب کے اعضاء: دن میں پیشاب پر قابو نہ ہونا؛ مثانے کی گردن میں جلن؛ بستر گیلا کرنا۔

Extremities: Rheumatic pain in shoulder; stiff neck; articular rheumatism; palms hot; hands swollen and painful.

اعضاء (ہاتھ پاؤں): کندھے میں گٹھیا کا درد؛ اکڑی گردن؛ جوڑوں کا گٹھیا؛ ہتھیلیاں گرم؛ ہاتھ سوجے اور دردناک۔

Fever: Chill daily at 1 p.m.; all catarrhal and inflammatory fevers, first stage.

بخار: روزانہ دوپہر 1 بجے کپکپی؛ تمام نزلاتی اور سوزشی بخار، پہلا مرحلہ۔

Modalities: Worse: at night and 4–6 a.m., touch, jar, motion, right side. Better: cold applications.
