Aconitum napellus (Aconite)

Source: Monkshood, whole plant; family Ranunculaceae. Plant kingdom.

ماخذ: مونکس ہُڈ، پورا پودا؛ خاندان رینن کیولیسی۔ نباتاتی دوا۔

Key notes: A state of fear, anxiety and anguish of mind and body; physical and mental restlessness, fright, is the most characteristic manifestation; acute, sudden and violent invasion, with fever, calls for it; does not want to be touched; sudden and great sinking of strength; complaints and tension caused by exposure to dry, cold weather, draught of cold air, checked perspiration; also complaints from very hot weather; first remedy in inflammations and inflammatory fevers.

Head: Fullness; heavy, pulsating, hot, bursting, burning, undulating sensation; intracranial pressure; burning headache, as if brain were moved by boiling water; vertigo, worse rising; scalp sensitive; sensation as if hair were standing on end.

سر: بھرا پن؛ بھاری، دھڑکتا، گرم، پھٹتا، جلتا، لہریں لیتا احساس؛ سر کے اندر دباؤ؛ جلن والا سر درد جیسے دماغ کھولتے پانی سے ہل رہا ہو؛ اٹھنے پر بڑھنے والا چکر؛ سر کی جلد حساس؛ بال کھڑے ہونے کا احساس۔

Eyes: Red, inflamed; feel dry and hot, as if sand in them; lids swollen, hard and red; aversion to light; profuse watering after exposure to dry, cold winds, reflection from snow; first stage of conjunctivitis from foreign body.

آنکھیں: سرخ، سوزش زدہ؛ خشک اور گرم جیسے ریت ہو؛ پلکیں سوجی، سخت اور سرخ؛ روشنی سے بیزاری؛ خشک سرد ہوا اور برف کی چمک کے بعد زیادہ آنسو؛ بیرونی ذرے سے آشوبِ چشم کا پہلا مرحلہ۔

Ears: Very sensitive to noises; music is unbearable; external ear hot, red, painful, swollen; earache.

Face: Red, hot, flushed, swollen; one cheek red, the other pale; on rising, red face becomes deathly pale, or he becomes faint or giddy; tingling in cheeks and numbness; neuralgia, especially left side, with restlessness, tingling and numbness.

Stomach: Vomiting, with fear, heat, profuse sweat and increased urination; thirst for cold water; bitter taste of everything except water; drinks, vomits, and declares he will die.

نظامِ تنفس: بائیں سینے میں مسلسل دباؤ؛ ذرا سی حرکت پر سانس رکنا؛ بھاری، خشک، کروپ جیسی کھانسی؛ اونچی، محنت والی سانس؛ ہر کھانسی پر بچہ گلا پکڑے؛ اندر جانے والی ہوا سے بہت حساس؛ سانس کی تنگی؛ حلق حساس؛ سینے میں چبھن؛ خشک، چھوٹی، ٹھسکا کھانسی، رات اور آدھی رات کے بعد بڑھے؛ پھیپھڑوں میں گرمی۔

Heart: Tachycardia; affections of heart with pain in left shoulder; stitching pain in chest; palpitation, with anxiety, fainting, and tingling in fingers; pulse full, hard, tense, bounding.

دل: دل کی تیز دھڑکن؛ بائیں کندھے میں درد کے ساتھ دل کی تکالیف؛ سینے میں چبھن؛ گھبراہٹ، غشی اور انگلیوں کی جھنجھناہٹ کے ساتھ دھڑکن؛ نبض بھری، سخت، تنی ہوئی، اچھلتی۔

Fever: Cold stage most marked; cold sweat and icy coldness of face; coldness and heat alternate; evening chilliness soon after going to bed; cold waves pass through him; thirst and restlessness always present; skin dry, hot; face red, or pale and red alternately; burning heat, with thirst; profuse drenching sweat, which relieves all symptoms.
